About Us

ShopKeylessLocks.com was launched in 2009 as an ecommerce solution for buying electronic keyless entry locks. We offer a wide variety of keyless deadbolt locks, keyless entry systems and keyless safes.

Behind ShopKeylessLocks.com is our parent company, Time Lock Inc. Time Lock Inc. was founded in 2005. While researching options for locks at Glen's church, which was undergoing a 2 million dollar renovation, the building committee, which Glen was a part of, came across keyless door locks that use the iButton technology. The iButton locks were ordered and installed at the church. After installing and using the locks, it was evident that there would be a market for these keyless door locks. Time Lock Inc. was formed, and Glen, along with his wife, Sandy, started selling the Eternity iButton locks. Shortly after Time Lock Inc. was up and running, Glen was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Due to his health, Glen was unable to perform the day to day operations of the company. At that time, their sons, Sean and Chris, became involved in the business.

Since Sean and Chris have been running the company, they have added more lines of keyless locks, such as Schlage, Kaba, LockState and Morning Industry. By adding these other manufacturers, it has allowed ShopKeylessLocks.com to offer keyless locks for residential use as well as commercial use.

Meet the Team

Glen Martin (Owner/President)

Glen began his career in the insurance industry in 1980 with Martin, McDermid Insurance Ltd. He progressively advanced into positions of higher responsibility and in 1988 became both a major shareholder in the company, and was appointed Secretary-Treasurer. In 1998, Glen and his business partner sold Martin, McDermid & Frost Insurance Ltd. to Barton Insurance Brokers Ltd. and became a founding member of HUB International Limited, a publicly traded company on the TSE. Glen left the insurance industry after 25 years in October of 2005 & was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis shortly after leaving. Glen has been active in the community, having served as a Director and president of the Kamloops Gyro Club, director of the Crime Stoppers Association of Kamloops for 10 years, the New Life Mission, and other not-for-profit groups.

Sandy Martin (Owner/Chief Financial Officer)

Sandy started her career in the financial industry. When her husband, Glen Martin, became a major shareholder of Martin, McDermid & Frost Insurance Ltd. Sandy came alongside Glen to assist in the day to day functions of the rapidly growing business. When the insurance agency was purchased by Barton Insurance Brokers Ltd., Sandy continued her work in the business until Glen retired in 2005. Sandy has been very active in the community, volunteering her time to help people in need. She was a founding board member of the House of Ruth (Women's Recovery Home) and volunteered at the Upper Room Boutique, helping to raise funds for the New Life Mission. Sandy is currently a director of the International Humanitarian Hope Society, which raises funds and supplies needs for children's orphanages around the world. Sandy now manages the accounting department for Time Lock Inc and ShopKeylessLocks.com.

Chris Martin (Owner/Manager of Ecommerce and IT)

Chris graduated high school in 1999 from Valleyview Secondary School and then entered into the Bachelor of Business and the Bachelor of Technology programs at the University College of the Cariboo. In 2003, Chris went to work tech support for a large American ISP, quickly moving up in the company Chris became a Lead Technical Supervisor. In 2007 Chris joined Time Lock Inc. to run the company with his brother Sean after their father was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and could no longer run the day to day operations of the company. Together they have grown the company from a local retail store into an Ecommerce business that serves the United States and Canada.
